Anna Piperi

Anna is a doctoral student in the Faculty of Motor Sciences. Her thesis project aims to optimize physical training and nutritional recommendations for the female athletes. She also works in the exercise physiology laboratory where she performs exercise tests and supervises trainings under specific conditions of hypoxia or thermal stress.

Originally from Cyprus, Anna has achieved an international academic career in the field of sports science and nutrition over the past few years. She has completed her undergraduate and masters courses at the University of Stirling, Scotland, the University of Maastricht, Netherlands, and the University of Illinois, USA. There, she developed a strong theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Her professional goal is to continue developing her knowledge and understanding of exercise physiology and the impact of nutrition on human health and sport performance.
