Train Smarter with Sport Science !

Geoffrey Warnier

One of Geoffrey's projects in the lab is to study the cellular processes involved in the adaptation to exercise in athletes but also in obese individuals. One of these processes is inter-organ communication mediated by extracellular vesicles. These vesicles are released by our cells and participate in the process of adaptation to exercise by carrying molecules such as proteins and RNA for example. A particular interest is focused on the communication between the skeletal muscle and the adipose tissue via these vesicles.
